Borussia Dortmund Unveils Squad Numbers for 2023/24 Season

New Signings Receive Shirt Numbers

Dortmund, Germany - Borussia Dortmund has announced the official squad numbers for its players for the upcoming 2023/24 season. Several new signings have been assigned their jersey numbers ahead of their debuts with the club.

The most notable change is the shirt number assigned to striker Sébastien Haller. The former Ajax star, who joined Dortmund this summer, will wear the number 9 jersey, previously worn by Erling Haaland. Midfielder Salih Özcan, who signed from FC Köln, has been assigned the number 6, while defender Nico Schlotterbeck, who joined from Freiburg, will wear the number 2. Julian Ryerson, acquired from Union Berlin, will don the number 14 jersey.
