Jacksonville Rapper Julio Foolio Killed in Tampa Shooting

Foolio was celebrating his 26th birthday when he was shot

Four people were hit with gunfire in a hotel car park early Sunday morning

Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio was shot and killed outside of a Holiday Inn in Tampa, Florida early Sunday morning after celebrating his 26th birthday, according to his attorney.

Foolio, whose real name was Julio Ricardo Adams, was one of four people who were hit with gunfire in the hotel's parking lot early Sunday morning, according to the Tampa Police Department.

Foolio was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The other three victims were also transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Tampa Police Department is investigating the shooting. No arrests have been made.

Foolio was a rising star in the Jacksonville rap scene. He had released several mixtapes and singles, and he had collaborated with some of the biggest names in hip hop, including Kodak Black and Lil Durk.

Foolio's death is a tragic loss for the Jacksonville community. He was a talented artist and a beloved member of the community. He will be deeply missed.
